Description

Student frequently suffer from tight muscles because of prolonged sitting and bad posture. These issues may impact comfort, physical performance, and day-to-day posture. While positional release technique (PRT) and deep friction, massage (DFM) are widely used to address these issues. Research has been performed to compare how helpful they are in the student populations to help physiotherapists select the best, evidence- based treatment for students. A comparison of treatment is required to determine which approach improves range of motion and muscle flexibility. Thus the current study concludes that both Positional Release Technique (PRT) and Deep Friction Massage (DFM) are useful interventions for enhancing hamstring flexibility and increasing range of motion, as demonstrated by notable improvements in hip flexion and Straight Leg Raise (SLR) in both groups. But the between-group study showed that the PRT group improved more than the DFM group, showing that it was more effective.
