Description

Size exclusion chromatograms of Lake Union water pretreated with mixtures of heated aluminum oxide particles (HAOPs) and powdered activated carbon (PAC) in batch or µGAF reactors with a total adsorbent dose of 20 mg/l are presented in Figure 1. Graphs allow comparison of the chromatograms for water pretreated by a given mixture of HAOPs and PAC in the two types of pretreatment reactor. Graphs for three adsorbent mixtures (15mg/l PAC + 5 mg/l HAOPs, 10mg/l PAC + 10 mg/l HAOPs, and 5mg/l PAC + 15 mg/l HAOPs) are presented.
