Generic probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) models for PWRs and BWRs. The models are computationally light, handy, transparent, user-friendly, and easily adaptable to account for major plant-specificities when needed. They can be utilized for different purposes including: order-of-magnitude precursor analysis, inter-plant risk comparisons, initial risk screening, and research and pedagogic applications especially when no plant-specific PSAs are available.

Can be accessed and modified using the SAPHIRE (Systems Analysis Programs for Hands-on Integrated Reliability Evaluations) software tool.
