Data for: Constraints on the formation of the Baogutu reduced porphyry copper deposit (West Junggar, NW China): implicating by the Cu-bearing mafic magma

Description

Six representatives samples, which collected in Baogutu reduced porphyry Cu deposit were selected for whole rock geochemical investigations. Part of the samples was analyzed for zircon U-Pb dating by Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS), zircon Hf isotopic analysis, and whole rock Sm-Nd isotopic analysis. In addition, the thin sections of gabbro and diorite were selected for electron microprobe analysis and observation. All analyses were conducted at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS), China.
