Geochemical analysis results and statistical parameters for investigation of heavy metal contamination in marine surface sediments from the Northern Bohai Strait

Description

The Bohai Strait is of great significance in pollution prevention and control in the region of Bohai and Yellow seas, which are among the highest anthropogenically impacted marginal seas east of China. To depict the spatial distribution and pollution status of heavy metals in the northern Bohai Strait, a systematic investigation of heavy metal contamination in surface sediments is presented.
