Androgenetic alopecia significantly impacts the quality of life in younger, less-educated, and single patients. Factors affecting the reduced quality of life included symptoms and feelings, daily activities, personal relationships, psychological relationships, social relationships, the environment, symptoms, emotions, and self-confidence. Dermatologists should assess the quality of life and appropriately support androgenetic alopecia patients.
