Commercial Window Cleaning Cost Dataset — Northern Ontario, Canada (2026)
Description
A structured dataset of 5,376 commercial window cleaning cost scenarios modeled on real building profiles from Northern Ontario, Canada. Generated using an open-source pricing calculator built by Binx Professional Cleaning, a WSIB-covered commercial and residential cleaning company operating in North Bay and Sudbury since 2013 with 70+ staff. The dataset covers 28 representative commercial building profiles across four Northern Ontario cities (North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie), modeled across all combinations of service type, cleaning frequency, labour rate, and access method. Each row contains a fully calculated cost estimate including labour minutes, materials cost, profit margin, per-window cost, and projected annual spend in CAD. Building types include retail storefronts, medical clinics, office buildings, government facilities, hotels, industrial warehouses, condominiums, and shopping centres. Access methods range from ground-level to ladder, boom lift, rope access, and swing stage — each with distinct cost multipliers reflecting real-world operational complexity. Key variables: window count, window type, access method, service type (interior/exterior/both), cleaning frequency (one-time through weekly), labour rate ($20–$26 CAD/hr), and profit margin (25%–40%). The pricing model follows standard Ontario commercial cleaning industry formulas.
