Description

We aimed to assess the electrocardiographic changes related to arrhythmic risk in advanced prostate cancer patients with drug induced hypogonadism. The dataset contains raw clinical and ECG data from 35 patients treated with degarelix plus enzalutamide (treatment group A, 26 patients) or without enzalutamide (treatment group B, 9 patients) observed at the beginning (M0) and after 6 months of therapy (M1). A subset of 25 patients of the same group performed also Holter ECG study with assessment of heart rate variability and occurrence of ventricular premature beats. Corrected QT interval (QTc), QT dispersion (QTd), J-Tpeak interval (JPp), Tpeak-Tend interval (Tpe), Tpe/QT ratio (Tpe/QT), Tpeak-Tend dispersion (Tped) and the index of cardio-electrophysiological balance (iCEB) were measured on ECG tracings. Heart rate correction was made using Fridericia formula. Heart rate variability was assessed in both time and frequency domains.
