Description

The presented NMR and high-resolution MS spectra are supplementary file for "Chemical constituents from Ferula songarica Pall. ex Spreng. and its chemotaxonomic significance". This dataset was analyzed to identify the compounds present in the dichloromethane and methanol extracts of Ferula songarica. Six compounds were isolated, including quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Figures S1-S11), quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside (Figures S12-S22), isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside (Figures S23-S27), a mixture of stigmasterol and β-sitosterol (Figures S28-S41) as well as 3-farnesyl-4-hydroxybenzoic acid (Figures S42-S51).

Steps to reproduce

Six chemical constituents were isolated and purified using medium pressure liquid chromatography (MPLC) and recycling high-performance liquid chromatography (recycling HPLC) or repeated column chromatography. They were identified unambiguously based on spectroscopic data (NMR and MS). NMR spectra were recorded on a Bruker Ascend™ 600 MHz spectrometer. The LC-ESI-MS were acquired using Thermo Scientific Vanquish UHPLC coupled to a Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap Fusion™ Tribrid™ Mass Spectrometer.
