Description

The accompanying dataset comprises a multi-format repository designed to support the simulation study. It includes Simio project files (.spfx) containing the discrete event models, Python scripts used for statistical analysis and data processing, and video recordings that document the simulation runs and key process dynamics

Steps to reproduce

To replicate the simulation results and data analysis presented in this study, follow these steps: Environment Setup: Ensure Simio (version [Insert Version]) is installed for running the simulation models. Install Python 3.x along with required libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scipy). Simulation Execution: Open the provided Simio project files (.spfx). Run the experiment scenarios as defined in the model properties to generate raw output data. (Optional) Refer to the included video files to verify the expected visual behavior of the simulation cycles and failure logic. Data Extraction: Export the simulation results (typically in .csv or .xlsx format) into the designated /data folder within the Python project directory. Statistical Analysis: Execute the Python scripts provided to process the raw data. The scripts will automatically generate the statistical distributions, KDE histograms, and reliability metrics discussed in the paper.
