The research data include performance comparisons of the multi-cabin structure before and after optimization, topology optimization data, comparisons of the protective performance of local components, and validation of the numerical method used in this study. The data include line plots and raw data, and were created using Origin software.

Steps to reproduce
The fluid–structure interaction numerical simulations of UNDEX in this dataset were performed using LS-DYNA, while the topology optimization was conducted using LS-TaSC.
