Description of this data

A 6-storey model frame weighs 5.4kg made of aluminum strips, acrylic glass and timber boards is mounted on a mechatronic base isolation system. It composes of two linear steel rails and sliding blocks, which can be switched on and off by a control unit via two solenoids. Data is filtered using 6th order Butterworth filter in MATLAB.

Shake Table: Quanser Shake Table II
Accelerometers: IMI Sensors model 601C03
Data acquisition: National Instrument NI9234
