Description

Data (Table 1–3) for the manuscript by Han et al., Average major element composition of the upper continental crust derived from an integrated study of sedimentary and igneous rocks. This study reports the major element compositions of 139 worldwide loess samples. By systematically examining the elemental concentrations and ratios in loess, together with other sample types (igneous rocks, shales, and glacial diamictites), we propose a new compositional model for the upper continental crust (UCC).
