Data supporting: Optimizing open space capacity under heritage constraints in the ancient city of Suzhou

Description

This dataset supports the findings of the manuscript entitled "Optimizing open space capacity under heritage constraints in the ancient city of Suzhou: a multi-scale recursive approach”. It contains two files: 1.Community_level_open_space_indicators.xlsx: Community-level open space statistics for 45 communities, including land area, per capita area, land ratio, type-specific areas, and target ratio(green, plaza-type, street-type). These data were calculated from land use and population data using ArcGIS 10.5. 2.PC_model_intermediate_data.xlsx: Intermediate data for the potential–constraint model, including building quality, appearance, and age scores, protection control class scores, weights, and final regeneration potential scores for each plot. These data were generated through weighted overlay analysis and natural breaks classification. All data are processed and aggregated.
