Article Dataset for AAL and Active Aging
Description
This dataset contains metadata of publicly available datasets relevant to Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and Active Aging research. Each entry provides information such as dataset name, modality (video, audio, multimodal), task type (fall detection, activity recognition, health monitoring), participant characteristics, environment (home, lab, outdoor), size, year of release, geographic origin, accessibility status, and reference link. The dataset is provided in .xlsx format with accompanying summary figures (PDF) illustrating modality distribution, dataset tasks, geographic spread, and annotation types.

Steps to reproduce
1. Clone the repository and move into the project folder git clone https://gitlab.com/magix.ai/article-analysis-public.git && cd article-analysis-public 2. Create a Python virtual environment python3 -m venv .venv 3. Activate the virtual environment source .venv/bin/activate 4. Install the project dependencies pip install -r requirements.txt 5. Run the analysis using the provided input file python3 main.py -f data/GoodBrother_datasets_20230215/search_data.json 6. Access the generated results All outputs, including the key file `filtered_articles.xlsx` (Excel pivot-ready, with article metadata and LLM-derived similarity scores) and a set of charts/visualizations, will be available in the `results/`subdirectory inside the appropriate project directory (data/GoodBrother_datasets_20230215/results/).
