The computed data of tropical cyclone (TC) genesis during peak and trough seasons includes: 1) Normalized TC numbers: North (NH), South (SH) Hemispheres and global counts; 2) Annual TC numbers: global, NH and SH totals; stratified by their respective peak and trough seasons; 3) Seasonal proportions of TC numbers: in the NH and SH during their peak and trough seasons ; 4) TC genesis density: in the NH and SH during their peak and trough seasons; 5) Interannual trends of TC genesis density: in the NH and SH during their peak and trough seasons.
