This bibliometric review followed a systematic and transparent methodology based on the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines to ensure rigor, replicability, and reliability. The study aimed to map the scholarly landscape of metaverse research in education using bibliometric indicators derived from the Scopus database.
