Provider-year level analytic dataset derived from Medicare Part D Prescriber Public Use File and CMS Open Payments Database (2021–2023). Contains aggregated prescribing and payment data for nurse practitioners and physician assistants who prescribed dermatology biologics to Medicare patients. Raw data sources are publicly available at data.cms.gov and openpaymentsdata.cms.gov.

Steps to reproduce
"Data were derived from two publicly available federal databases: the Medicare Part D Prescriber Public Use File (2021-2023) and the CMS Open Payments General Payment Data (2021-2023). Providers were identified as nurse practitioners or physician assistants using the Prscrbr_Type field in Medicare Part D. Dermatology biologics were identified by generic drug name. Payments were linked by National Provider Identifier. Full analytic code available upon request."
