Description

Brain deficit particularly in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) has recently gained interest specifically to explore the connection of insulin resistance in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and this neurodegeneration disease. In this bibliometric study, 2663 Scopus publications were evaluated from the key search of insulin resistance, T2DM, and AD. The publications were all selected based on the criteria that have been set, which is publications that were published from 2010 until 2020. Some network maps were visualized using VOSviewer software, which was employed in this study to clarify research focus, documents that produced total citation per year, citescores, source normalized impact per year (SNIP), and publication trend. The software can weigh the importance of cite publication based on the T2DM and AD key research in the bibliometric analysis.
