This dataset contains the meteorological forcing and irrigation inputs used to validate a multilayer soil water balance model under two independent scenarios: comparison against HYDRUS-1D simulations and validation with experimental field measurements. The 2023 dataset consists of a 120-day simulation with an hourly time step for the HYDRUS-1D validation. The 2026 dataset consists of 40 days of field observations sampled at 10-minute intervals for the experimental validation. The dataset includes precipitation (P, mm), irrigation (I, mm), potential evaporation (Epot, mm), potential transpiration (Tpot, mm), and root depth (Zr, mm).
