Collection of MicroCT images of tomato seeds

Description

Cross section images of 105 tomato seeds obtained by X-ray micro-CT. All seeds of this collection were morphometrically characterised in order to investigate prediction potential of internal and external seed morphology on germination outcomes. For this purpose, after the micro-CT scanning, these seeds were used for a germination test in which outcomes of each seed ID were scored.

Steps to reproduce

Single cross section images of the seeds can be visualised with any .jpg image viewer. Entire seed volumes visualisation requires the use of softwares which allow visualisation of stacks of images (e.g., image-J).
