Iron and zinc isotopes constrain the continental crust formation

Description

This study integrates whole-rock Zn-Fe isotope analysis and thermodynamic modeling to investigate the origin of the El-Shadli plagiogranites and compare them with the 4.02 Ga Idiwhaa gneiss, providing insights into continental crust formation. We present major and trace element compositions, Sr-Nd isotopes, and high-precision Fe and Zn isotope data for the El-Shadli plagiogranites, along with the results of thermodynamic modeling.
