The search results for this literature review in the databases yielded an initial collection of 10,222 publications. To delimit the research and identify works that portrayed the production on Assistive Technology in the Brazilian educational context, filters were applied that considered the origin of the works in Brazil, the availability of the full text, and open access. In this way, 137 publications were selected, of which 58 were duplicates. Next, the titles, abstracts, and keywords of the remaining 79 publications were analyzed, with the aim of identifying those that addressed the use or production of Assistive Technology in the Brazilian educational context. After this stage, 44 articles that met the established criteria were selected. The articles selected in the literature review, after applying the filters defined in the inclusion and exclusion criteria, are presented in chronological order in Table 1. The oldest publication is from 2007, while the most recent is from 2024. By conducting a general analysis of these works, in addition to the time period, it is possible to identify the authors, the research base, and the themes of these studies.
