Metabolic signatures in serum and pleural fluid of individuals with tuberculosis pleural effusion.

Description

Targeted liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS)- based metabolomics of serum and pleural fluid samples. LC-MS/MS was performed using the AbsoluteIDQ p180 kit (Biocrates Life Sciences). The datastes include raw m/z files and retention times for 70 samples collected from healthy controls without TB or other diseases, PTB (patients with radiological and/or microbiological confirmation of pulmonary TB), PITB (patients with pleural effusion) and OD (patients with malignant pleural effusions classified as other diseases).
