A preliminary search was conducted using search terms related to "decarbonization," "ship," and "literature review": ("decarboni" OR "emission control" OR "emission reduction" OR "emission mitigation") AND ("ship*" OR "vessel*") AND ("literature review"). The search was limited to "Articles" and "review articles" in English, with no limitation on dates. During the evaluation of the results, the need to broaden the search to obtain a comprehensive view of the topic was identified, thus enhancing the reliability and validity of the results. Consequently, a second search was conducted using the terms "decarbonization" and "ship," but excluding the "literature review" component and selecting only "review articles" as the filter. Only documents published in peer-reviewed scientific journals were considered, and articles from all years were included. The research was conducted in 2023 and supplemented in 2024 for data updates. The data were collected and duplicate articles were excluded using tools from the R programming language in RStudio. The package used was Bibliometrix. The studies were individually assessed based on their titles and abstracts. Review articles were included if they explicitly addressed topics related to decarbonization or carbon emission reduction in maritime transportation. Studies that did not meet these criteria were excluded. All relevant reviews were included. From the 2023 research, the selected articles resulted in the files 'scopus_2023.csv' and 'savedrecs_2023'. The 2024 research resulted in 11 selected files, all present in the Scopus database, generating the files 'scopus_1.csv' through 'scopus_11.csv'. Subsequently, the Bibliometrix package was used for data generation and analysis, with the code available in the file 'Bibliometrix_Maritime Decarbonization - A Tertiary Literature Review.R'.
