Steps to reproduce
Data Collection: 1、Perform Drosophila feeding assays using the FlyPlate-BCA system. 2、Use the FlyPlate-BCA setup as described in the manuscript's STAR★Methods. Data Processing: 1、Extract raw feeding data from each well using the FlyIntakeAnalyzer Python package. 2、Perform calibration using BCA protein standards and calculate food intake using the provided scripts. Statistical Analysis: 1、Perform power analysis using G*Power v3.1. 2、Use GraphPad Prism v9 for statistical comparisons (t-tests, ANOVA). Data Visualization: 1、Plot cumulative intake and feeding patterns using GraphPad Prism. 2、Compare FlyPlate-BCA and CAFE results to assess sensitivity and resolving power. Reproducibility: 1、Ensure environmental consistency (25 ± 0.5 °C, 60 ± 5% RH) during experiments. 2、Maintain uniform handling practices for both FlyPlate-BCA and CAFE assays.
