Description

See attached sequence data utilized in the de novo assembly of Cirrhipathes sp. collected at Amber’s Arches (21°53.229 N, 159°36.132 E) off of the island of Kaua‘i. We generated a 20,452 bp mitochondrial genome consisting of 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes and 2 tRNA genes (trnM and trnW). Base composition of the mitogenome is A+T biased at 64.1%. The complete mitochondrial genome data are openly available in GenBank at https://www.ncbi. nlm.nih.gov under the accession no. ON653414. Co-authors of this work include the following: Anthony D. Montgomery, Daniel Wagner, Evan W. Barba and Robert J. Toonen.
