These are the original interview transcripts of couples who experienced being separated from their spouse and family during the Covid-19 pandemic when national borders were closed, and strict restriction of movement control order was implemented.

Steps to reproduce

An interview protocol was developed to guide the semi-structured interview. The data was later transcribed and analyzed. Phenomenological approach is used to study the lived experiences from the couples' perspective. All informants were recruited purposively for in-depth interview via online platform.
