The Supplementary Data file includes Tables S1–S3, presenting bulk-rock elemental geochemical data, carbonate-fraction elemental concentrations and Sr–Nd isotopic data, and Fe speciation with bulk δ¹⁵N and authigenic (non-detrital) δ⁵⁶Fe data for the Shuijingtuo Formation.

Steps to reproduce

All data were obtained from geochemical laboratory analyses and testing.
