Phytosociological data of the selected Poznań Fortress infantry shelters

Description

This dataset documents the vegetation inventory of selected infantry shelters (built between the 1880s and 1914) of the Poznań Fortress. The data presented were collected in April 2025 (spring aspect) and in June 2025 (summer aspect). Phytosociological relevés were carried out (following the Braun-Blanquet method) in 10 abandoned infantry shelters. Each relevé measured 4x5 m (20 m²). Spreadsheets present: - study site’s locations (geographical coordinates) and description (including: surrounding land use, potential vegetation, trees and shrubs presence on site, number of plots in each zone (R – roof, S – slope, F – forefield, E – entrance); - phytosociological relevés.
