This dataset contains high-resolution elemental concentration data obtained by synchrotron radiation X‑ray fluorescence (SR‑XRF) core scanning of varved sediments from Lake Sihailongwan (NE China). The dataset includes continuous geochemical profiles for five elements (Br, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr) measured in parts per million (ppm) with sub‑annual resolution over the period 761–2007 CE.
