Description

This dataset presents boron (B) and mercury (Hg) isotope compositions of Quaternary mafic volcanic rocks sampled along a transect from the volcanic front to the back-arc region of Costa Rica (Central America). The sample suite comprises basaltic andesites, basalts, and basanites previously characterized for bulk rock major and trace element geochemistry. This dataset supports a companion manuscript examining B-Hg isotope systematics as tracers of subduction inputs and shallow-level degassing or crustal assimilation.
