The data were collected through a structured survey designed to evaluate assertive communication between leaders and collaborators within Clínica Colombia, a high-complexity healthcare institution located in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. The study followed a descriptive and exploratory approach focused on organizational communication and leadership interaction. The survey instrument consisted of eleven closed-ended questions based on previous research on assertive communication and workplace climate. The questionnaire was adapted from the works of Palma (2021) and Orjuela, Palacios, and Roa (2019), and was modified to fit the organizational context of the institution. The questions evaluated aspects such as clarity of instructions, openness to dialogue, respect in communication, leadership feedback, and the ability of employees to express opinions or concerns. Data were collected using Google Forms, which allowed the distribution of the questionnaire and automatic recording of responses. The survey was applied to employees of the organization, generating a dataset of responses that reflect the perception of internal communication practices between supervisors and staff. The workflow of the study included the following steps: Literature review on assertive communication and organizational climate. Adaptation of survey questions based on previously validated instruments. Design and implementation of the questionnaire in Google Forms. Distribution of the survey to participants within the organization. Collection and compilation of responses automatically through the platform. Descriptive analysis of the results to identify strengths and areas for improvement in leadership communication. The collected data were then used to analyze internal communication dynamics and to propose an institutional action plan aimed at strengthening assertive communication, improving leadership practices, and fostering a positive organizational climate.
