The dataset examines how social media influencers' characteristics impact followers' parasocial relationship. A 5 points Likert scale survey containing 35 items was used to measure seven concepts (Homophily, Popularity, Leverage, Fashionable, Affinity, Parasocial relationship, WOM, and purchase intentions). The dataset contains 574 valid responses gathered from Instagram users in Qatar during the winter of 2020.
