Description

This dataset contains the official operational demonstration video for the Smart Modular Medication Organizer (SMMO) prototype. The video illustrates the full end-to-end hardware-software ecosystem, including the central hub, physical attachment of up to 10 detachable medication compartments via active-low sense-line interface connectors, time-gated LED visual guidance, physical push-button dosage confirmation, synchronized multi-dose alert clearing, and real-time cloud data logging with Firebase.

Steps to reproduce

To observe and replicate the operational workflow demonstrated in the video: Power on the ESP32-powered SMMO central hub using the internal battery/USB interface and ensure Wi-Fi connectivity. Dock one or more 3D-printed modular compartments into the central hub interface pins. Configure medication dosage schedules and inventory limits via the companion mobile app or web dashboard. Upon reaching a scheduled alarm time, verify that the central buzzer sounds and only the LED indicators on the target compartment illuminate. Press the physical confirmation button on the active compartment to clear the local alert and trigger an automated real-time inventory deduction in the cloud database.
