This is a compilation about the data of river water samples collected from the Inn River in the Engadin Valley in Switzerland. The goal of this study was to make use of the Engadin Valley as a natural laboratory where the Inn River traverses from one distinct lithology to another in order to assess the controls on riverine dissolved carbon dynamics in a high alpine river system. The purpose of this document if to provide an overview about seasonality and instruct how the program MEANDIR was used in order to disentangle the different source contributions to the riverine DIC pool. An overview of the valley and its lithology as well as all measurements from the sampling stations can be found here in detail.
