Relative risks of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are presented by body region and overall for patients with early, late, and total syphilis compared with matched controls. SCC risk is higher in certain regions depending on the syphilis stage, whereas BCC risk is largely similar between patients with syphilis and controls.
