Description

This dataset contains the regional indicators used to construct the Technological Vulnerability Index (TVI) and analyse its relationship with socioeconomic performance across Spanish Autonomous Communities for the periods 2022–2023 and 2023–2024. The data combine ICT indicators from the Survey on ICT Usage and Electronic Commerce in Companies (ETICCE) with tourism and labour market statistics from official sources of the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE). The dataset includes variables measuring digital infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, digital capabilities, and advanced technology adoption, which are aggregated into four sub-dimensions (DIG, CE, DCG, ATM) to construct the TVI. It also contains regional socioeconomic indicators such as tourist expenditure, unemployment rates, and income levels used in the empirical analysis.
