- Data for: Ice lens induced interfacial hydraulic resistance in frost heaveThe files give the data for Figures 8-9 in the articles.
- Data for: Enhanced iceberg drift modelling in the Barents Sea with estimates of the release rates and size characteristics at the major glacial sources using Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2This folder contains the iceberg size characteristics interferred from Sentinel-2 optical imagery. Data of the five major iceberg sources in the Barents Sea are provided. For the locations (a1,a2,b1 etc.), see Figure 3 in the paper. The data includes: the perimeter and the area of the icebergs. Further, the 'height' and 'width' are given. These parameteres are found using a fitted minimum surrounding box in the software QGIS. The largest value (between height and width) is defined as the iceberg length and the smallest value the iceberg width.
- Data for: Accumulative plastic strain behaviors and microscopic structural characters of artificially freeze-thaw soft clay under dynamic cyclic loadingThese data are the data used in the paper to describe the relationship between the accumulative plastic strain versus number of cyclic loading; the fitting results; and also the microscopic structural characters of specimens.
- Data for: Evaluation of selected state-of-the-art methods for ship transit simulation in various ice conditions based on full-scale measurementThe file contains the full-scale measurement data of S.A.Agulhas II and Aranda in 2012 and 2016 respectively. The txt files contain the explanation of the data files. The data are organised by Matlab data format. Each Agulhas data file includes two dataset, one named by aguCandidate and another named by sc (short for stereo camera). aguCandidate contains 1Hz data which is implemented in this paper. sc contains the raw stereo camera data which could assists the reader to understand the variation in thickness measurement. Each Aranda data file includes one dataset, named by Aranda. This contains 1Hz data which is implemented in this paper. Note that all the datasets, except for sc, are not raw data. They are processed data which are organised in 1Hz.
- Data for: The non-linear behavior of aqueous model ice in downward flexureThe database contains data from analyzed cantilever bending strength experiments with respect to their non-linear behavior. Additionally, data on the composition of the tested model ice sheets (chemical dopants, grain structure, etc.) are listed.
- Data for: Dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio of Qinghai-Tibet frozen silt under multi-stage cyclic loadingThis is the origional dynamic triaxial tests data that supports the conclusion of manuscript.
- Data for: Distribution of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) from Legacy Spills at an Alaskan Arctic Site Underlain by PermafrostThis dataset is used in this article and was collected in Barrow in 2015.
