The 2010 Ethnic Minority British Election Study. Face to face survey conducted in 2010 including samples of Britain's largest ethnic minority groups; Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, African and Caribbean (combined n=2,787)

The analysis are based on these three datasets. We also include the do-file. In case the paper is accepted, we'll clean the do-file to make sure it's easy to replicate the analysis as an outside researcher.

Replication files contain Stata do-files for the construction of the dataset, replication of the main analysis, replication of the supplemental material, and data on cross-border commuters in Switzerland.

This dataset contains public opinion data regarding multiple policy areas from 1947 through 2011 in the United States, as well as data regarding the percentage of statements in Republican and Democratic platforms that were dedicated to each policy area. This data was originally collected through the Policy Agendas Project.

Dataset which contains a nationally representative sample of British Jews (n=512). Content is largely on political attitudes and behaviour, fieldwork was conducted in 2017 by polling company Survation.

Wave 13 of the British Election Study Online Panel. Nationally representative longitudinal study of the political attitudes and behaviour of British voters. This survey has a sample size of n=31,196 respondents, and was conducted online in June 2017.

This includes the media-guided spatial reference points from 33 democracies since the 1980s.

The following 3 files were uploaded: - "data_municipality.dta": contains the data (in Stata 14 format) for the 308 Portuguese municipalities, covering the local elections from 1997 to 2013. - "data_parish.dta"_ contains the data (in Stata 14 format) for 2163 Portuguese municipalities, which were not affected by the territorial reorganization of 2013, covering the local elections from 1997 to 2013. - "replication_file_ElectoralStudies_revision.do": Stata do-file with the code used to run the regressions and replicate all tables and figures of the paper and of the Online Appendix. The tables will be generated in Excel format. Both dta-files include variables labels describing each variable.

"Round 6 Merged Replication" do file contains replication materials for Models 1-10 and 14-16. "Uganda Round 2 Replication" do file contains replication materials for Models 11-13. "Ghana Round 5 Replication" do file contains replication materials for Models 17-20.
