  • Data for: Breathiness in Czech and Danish: Are females breathier than males?
The dataset contains the variables of interest to the study, but also some additional variables not featured in the study (HNR15, HNR25). "Creak" refers to whether there was any period of creak in the vowel interval analysed. As stated in the article, even though a specific data point may contain "yes" for "Creak", this means that the overall vowel interval contained some creak, but the creaky portion was excluded from the analyses.
  • Data for: Feature maps of the acoustic spectrum of the voice
Supplementary data in the form of three appendices, plus printed Voice Range Profile charts. The captions for each of these charts can be found in the main text. There are 10 Charts (one per spectral feature), that show vector graphs of VRPs (per voice voice register) for all the individual voices in the database. There are 2 Zoom-In Figures; high resolution PDF's that allow a zooming in to the spectra that are stored per cell in the VRP. To access the actual underlying spectral VRP and SRP data from this study, dedicated visualization software is needed. Both the data and the visualization software are made available via the institution website of the first author PP, see: http://kc.koncon.nl/staff/pabon/SpectralVRPdatabase/S_VRP_DB.htm
  • Data for: Investigating laryngeal 'tilt' on same-pitch phonation - preliminary findings of vocal mode metal and density parameters as alternatives to CT/TA 'mix'
Example of Laryngeal tilting when alternating between a full density and reduced density condition for Overdrive from the pedagogical method of Complete Vocal Technique.
  • Data for: Voice Disorders are Associated with Stress among Teachers: A Cross-Sectional Study
Addressed the concerns of the reviewers, we have included the questionnaire that was used for the study.
  • Data for: THE VOCAL SCORE PROFILE IN VERDI’S CHARACTERS
Tables reporting the absolute and relative frequency of every note for each character
  • Data for: Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Validation of the Voice Handicap Index in the Quebec French Population (VHI-QF)
Voice Handicap Index - Quebec French adaptation
  • Data for: Effects of the lung volume on the electroglottographic waveform in some trained female singers
Supplementary figure files A-D for the article Ternström S, D'Amario S, Selamtzis A. Effects of the lung volume on the electroglottographic waveform in some trained female singers. Submitted to Journal of Voice.
  • Data for: High Resolution Manometry as a tool for Biofeedback in Vertical Laryngeal Positioning
    raw data for laryngeal excursion
  • Data for: Voice tremor outcomes of subthalamic nucleus and zona incerta deep brain stimulation in patients with Parkinson’s disease
The assessed samples in the data set were prolonged vowels produced by Parkinson's disease patents off or on deep brain stimulation (DBS). The two targets evaluated were the subthalamic nucleus and the caudal zona incerta. Each row presents the results presents information regarding one rating of a sample. The information provided is the rated voice tremor severity (on a 0-3 scale, 3 is severe voice tremor), number of replays and delay time information, along with a rater identifier and a rating session ID. All assessments were performed in a blinded and randomized manner using the Alvin 2 stimulus presentation software. Hillenbrand, J. M., & Gayvert, R. T. (2005). • Data for: The Effect of Formant Biofeedback on the Feminization of Voice in Transgender Women
Complete fixed-effects results of all models referenced. • base_model: Model with F2 as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, condition, word, F0, and condition-word interaction. • F1_as_DV: Model with F1 as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, condition, word, F0, and condition-word interaction. • F3_as_DV: Model with F3 as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, condition, word, F0, and condition-word interaction. • F0_as_DV: Model with F0 as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, condition, word, and condition-word interaction. • base_perceptual_model: Model with mean click location as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, F2, F0, word, and F0-F2 interaction. • perc_model_no_outliers: Same as base_perceptual_model, with two transgender participants with high F0 and F2 values removed. • perc_model_F1_as_IV: Model with mean click location as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, F1, F0, word, and F0-F1 interaction. • perc_model_F3_as_IV: Model with mean click location as dependent variable, with fixed effects of group, F3, F0, word, and F0-F3 interaction.
